Changing Society’s view on Sex….

Life.  Amazingly short yet it seems most people don’t realize this until they have wasted most of it away. I for one know, too many people are living lives that they despise and ultimately  resent.    It interests me how taboo my world is to so many people.  The thing is, I feel that I am much happier than the average American.  Maybe it’s because I feel so sexually liberated. I watched a documentary recently (that I highly recommend);  Hugh Heftner: Playboy, Activist and Rebel.    A man on a mission to push the bar on several majorly controversial issues of the time.  Early in his career he “was very aware of, and concerned, about the sexual taboos and repression that existed in America”.   Motivating his content of Playboy was his personal drive for a society with a healthier attitude towards sex.   Ironic how so many accused him of doing the exact opposite.  I am often curious as to the ideology  involved in the adult entertainment hold towards themselves and the industry. The varying opinions are interesting.  After Porn Ends  is a documentary following several well know porn stars in their lives after porn.  It really saddened me to see that most viewed their time in porn as a chapter they wished they could erase or amend.  I was saddened to find a similar ideology when over St. Paddy’s day I stopped in to check out Foxy Lady in Providence Rhode Island.  I had heard positive things about the club and knowing  Michael Peter’s affiliation, I knew it was worth checking out (more to come on Mr. Peters in future posts as well as this amazing club).  The club impressed me, mostly because of the beautiful happy entertainers that filled the room and the overall attitudes of the women that obviously loved their job and the place they worked.  I was on my way to try out the private rooms when I encountered a beautiful girl with long sandy blonde hair and inquired about work.  I complimented the establishment and told her how interested I was in becoming “part of the team”.  The girl rolls her eyes and says, “yeah girl if you gotta do it this is the spot.  Get in, get out.  Make your money and make sure you create a plan to get out as soon as you can”.
Wow.  Really?  The perfect club, but why this mentality?  Am I a rarity that I love what I do?  And what if you were able to collect a crew of women like me who really loved the art of seduction?  Now would that not be a wonderful environment?………..

Thank you Mr. Porsche!

Loving the new lingerie and v-jazzling!  You rock my world Mr. Porsche ;-)  I’ll send you pics of both soon!

Red Garter Key West Bound July 18-21

My first trip to Key West was in 2009 with a good girlfriend. We stayed at the Hilton but I vowed if I ever went back I would stay at one of the nostalgic bed and breakfast inns that cover the island.
When researching fishing tournaments on Islamorada I discovered that the Drambuie Key West Marlin Tournament will be hosted July 17th through 20th. This tournament is hosted in conjunction with the Hemingway Festival each year in Key West.
$50,000 worth of cash prizes is awarded along with a $25,000 prize for the first place team. This must draw quite the crowd ;-)
Remembering a brief visit to a cozy club called The Red Garter Saloon, I instantly knew where I would be spending a week in July :-)

Woody’s in Islamorada

Met an interesting guy by the name of Bill the other day. Among the neat things I learned about Mr. Bill is that he has a connection to what sounds to be a neat little club nestled on Islamorada in the Florida Keys.
Take route 1 just south of Key Largo and you will find this fishing haven. The “Village of Islands”, which has only been incorporated since 1997, hosts an abundance of year round fishing tournaments. In fact, take a look at the wide selection offered atwww.sportfishingislamorada.com when you get a chance!
I was already impressed by the potential club earnings from the fishing tournament tourism when Bill begins to tell me about what sounds to be a neat little club called Woody’s (the puns in this industry continue to crack me up lol).
The women here are all apparently very good looking, and the club averages only about 8-15 entertainers a night according to Bill. I begin to read various reviews and the consensus seems to disagree with Bill’s love of the place.
This gets me curious about the potential for putting another club in this area. If the hot girls are there, the men are there, and the atmosphere of paradise is there….this began to seem like a spot I need to visit!
Florida Keys bound September 17-22 for the Islamorada Invitational Fly Fall Bonefish Tournament! Not really sure what it even is but excited to find out while discovering what Woody’s has to offer. Stay tuned!

Shout out to my boys with toys :P

So my good friend Sarah from my college days at UNCW flew into town yesterday.  After finishing off two bottles of wine doing a late night in the pool we realized that we need some guy friends with “nice toys”, as Sarah put it quite well.
So let me hear from ya if you have a boat, Harley, vacation home, jet skis, ect. and are looking for some fun company this spring! ;-)

Newfound Respect for Hugh Hefner

Saw a great documentary that I highly recommend  Hugh Hefner: Playboy, Activist and Rebel.  Check it out then let me know what ya think! He discusses his opinion that we as a culture need to adopt a new, healthier view of sex in general. I could not agree more. In my profession I see many sad people. People repressed by the indoctrinated ideas that monogamy is the only “righteous” way to live. I worry about many of the men older that me that feel guilty by masturbation and shameful about their lustful desires. I agree with Hefner that our society still has a ways to go, but we are making progress. Thank you Mr. Hefner for the huge contribution you personally have made. Hopefully one day soon we will meet in person so I can genuinely thank you.

The Squire Lounge- Revere, MA

I have visited many clubs, but  had never visited any in New England.  So when a friend announced that he had a weekend trip planned to check on his New England dental practice I decided I would turn it into a research trip for me as well.   I dove right into to searching what the Boston area had to offer! With a list of club names in hand I started my journey as soon as the plane landed.  Taking a short trip just north of Boston Logan to Revere, Massachusetts and you find The Squire Lounge nestled just off the side of Route One.  As I make my way to the door and into the establishment my southern smile quickly fades at the lack of hospitality from the front doorman.   Instead of the expected “welcome to The Squire” and an opened door, I was greeted by a burly man barking on the phone.  He sucked hard on a Marlboro while I struggled with the heavy door.  This made me wonder what this man’s real purpose was.  A customer savvy clubs knows the value in making a customer feel welcomed and important.  He definitely did not seem to be observant enough to be security either which reminded me of a newspaper article I found on the establishment covering a stabbing in the parking lot (click for details).  The guy got away because apparently there are no cameras or security to get tag numbers or intervene soon enough. Once inside I quickly notice the retro 80s neon lights.  An illuminated Marilyn Monroe flickered on one wall while mirrors reflected it on others.  I quickly order a drink and seat myself close to the stage.  A young girl desperately lacking in confidence and pose moved slowly on the stage.  I find myself becoming bored waiting for her to come my way.  It’s very simple, I think to myself.  Pick music that make you feel (and act) powerful!  Smile. Make a quick effort to acknowledge people sitting at the stage with money in hand. Yet, so many of these girls don’t get that.  I tip her while talking, asking everything from how her shift has gone so far, how she likes the management, what other clubs she dances at and, but most importantly, who do I talk to about employment?   After explaining that she has already made $400 (mind you it is still only 4pm so I am impressed) She directs me to “Chris” the DJ.  I spy the man sitting infront of the DJ booth and make my way to his table.  He explains how the club has just been purchased making reference to “we”.  Not sure if he was implying that he was an owner or simply worked for the company. I tried to look him up but only find that a man listed as Mark Fitranti is  D&B Corps. president which also owns The Squire along with The Golden Banana, located in Peabody and Tens in Salibury Mass.  Chris informs me that many renovations are in the plans to revive the club.  After reading in The Revere Journal that the club had actually been purchased in February 2011, I wondered what was taking so long in this process.  As we talk several well dresses older gentleman make their way to the empty bar and I watch to see the girls spring into action…but wait…where were the girls?  The only ones present are the girl I met on stage and beautiful blond with a wonderful figure who strolls right past the bar making no contact with customers whatsoever.  Instead she types away hastily on her cell phone and seats herself in plain view of the customers.  I continue my conversation with Chris asking about employment.  I explain that I would like to work one weekend a month when I fly in to Boston Logan.   To my surprise Chris replies that “it would upset the other girls” and “he would just need more of a commitment from me”.  I’m sitting there thinking to myself- can this guy be this clueless?  I laugh to myself then point out what the girls, and lack thereof, are doing in “his” club at this moment. “ I would work this room so hard right now and your girls would learn so much from watching me do it”, I respond.  I mention the bored men at the bar who by now are finishing off their whiskeys and checking their watches.  I watch his expression change as he asks, “oh, well do you have your stuff in the car?”  I shake his hand in farewell, shoot him my classic sweet southern smile while winking, and say “nice to meet you Chris, good luck, and I will be sure to blog about you.”   ;-)
